What LSSON collects, why, and who else sees it.

What we collect
Only what the app needs to work. There is no advertising and no tracking across other apps or sites.

Your email address, used to sign you in with a six-digit code. There is no password.
•
Your name, and a photo and handle if you add them.
•
Your timezone, so lesson times are shown in your own clock.
•
Your phone number, only if you give one, and only for lesson reminders.
•
Bookings, packs, plans and their amounts.
•
Messages, lesson notes and any video you record or upload.
•
A push notification token, only if you turn notifications on.
Who else sees it
Your data is not sold, and it is not shared for advertising. It reaches exactly three kinds of recipient:

Your instructor, or your student: name, photo, the bookings between you, your messages, and any video you sent them.
•
Anyone at all, for a published instructor page and the posts marked public on it. Posts marked students or plan are not public.
•
Our processors: Supabase (database, file storage and the sign-in email), Stripe (payments and payouts), Expo (push notification delivery). Each sees only what its job needs.
•
A club you book through, for the lessons you booked there and what they cost. A club that uses a member list gives us member numbers and email addresses; we hold that list to check membership and nothing else, and we delete it when the club does. We never read a club’s own member system.
Card details
Card numbers are entered on Stripe's pages and never reach LSSON LLC's systems. We store Stripe's identifiers for a customer, a payment and a payout, which let us look a payment up — not the card itself.
Video
Swing videos live in private storage. A video attached to a post is visible to exactly the audience of that post; a video sent in a message is visible to the two people in that conversation. Playback runs through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account exists. Delete your account from Settings and we remove your profile, messages and videos. Records of completed payments are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, and Stripe keeps its own records under its policy.
Your choices
Notifications are off until you turn them on, and turning them off removes the token from your profile. A phone number is optional and can be removed. You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it.
Email info@lsson.app for anything in this section. Depending on where you live you may have rights under the GDPR or the CCPA; we will honour them whether or not they apply to you.
Children
LSSON is not for under-13s and we do not knowingly collect their data. A parent or guardian books junior lessons under their own account. If you believe a child has an account, email info@lsson.app and we will remove it.
